Wooooah. I haven't used my journal in ages. I haven't had the time or energy, to post pictures or keep ut to date with what people are doing. I am going to try once more though. I think I'll try posting some dolliepictures some day very soon.

So, I took some pictures of Uma, and they turned out really bad because of the bad light. So, I decided to play around in photoshop with them abit. I don't know photoshop very well, at all. But I have to use it for school now, so I thought it'd be nice to make myself a bit more familiar with it.

I think it actually turned out quite all right. What I don't like is that the pictures all don't have the same colour, and they really look photoshopped I think. It'd be nicer if they just would look just... nice. Anyway, a bit of a test I guess, and I wanted to post some Uma.

I haven't updated here in ages.
The whole summer, I was pretty much busy, with working and family and such. I didn't have much time to takes pictures or anything else. And now, I am back home, and I've started a new school. It's great, but I am busy all the time. I think I'll update with some pictures today, or maybe tomorrow.

I just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone on my flist really, hoping ya'll are reading this! I'm going to try to update more often, and comment more from now on. I hope you all are doing well.

I haven't updated in a while, because I've been busy with work, packing and going home. I'm staying with my parents for the summer. I didn't manage to get any dolls with me when I went home, but my parents went to Trondheim for my uncle's birthday party and picked up Dagmar and Uma for me.

Dagmar just got home from getting a new faceup from Christy. She looks kinda different now I think, and a lot more like how I want her to look. She doesn't really have any clothes yet, because I kinda am having a hard time deciding what kind of clothing I want her to use. I got her a with though. It's way to big, but I do think it really suits her.

So, here are some pictures I took today. Nothing special really, and rather repetitive. But I just wanted to show her off.

Yesterday I was visiting Kristin, because she wanted to have Uma model some... scarf-thingies. I don't remember what they are called. Anyway, she gave Uma a scarf-thingy, and we took some pictures of Uma and Dane outside.

They are kinda repetitive, but I think they turned out pretty nice, because it was actually enough light to take proper pictures.

Criticism on my shitty photography is always welcome:)

I've been visiting my parents, and just got home today. I had a great week, and when I got back to our appartment, I found a package waiting for me! It was from
the_impassive, and it contained the necklace I bought for Uma.

It was in a cute little box, and it is so beautiful! If I remember right, it is called "little stacks" but since I have goldfish-memory, I can't remember what stone it was. I just love it so much and it looks great on Uma, I think.

I took these mostly to show off the necklace. They are yellow, and the red color of the stones doesn't look as bright as they are in real life. Also, her face is blurry on some of these. I did that on purpouse because the necklace was the the I was taking pictures of. I personally thinks it looks kinda cool, but maybe a bit odd? Oh and yeah, her huge Lishe boobs are kinda... visible in these pictures, because, well, they are in the same area as the necklace xD They also turned out kinda repetitive, but I liked these so I decided to post all of them here anyway.

I got a lot of big dolls here right now!
It is wierd and funny. Skumring's Dane is visiting for a period of time, and the other day, Nina came her with her two big girls. She left them here, because she was coming back today. So, five big dolls in my house. They take up alot of space:D

Anyway, I took some pictures of Dane and some of Dagmar and Enid, Nellie's ND Belladonna. I didn't actually try hard to get these to look super nice or nothing. It is way to dark in here for pictures and I was just mainly playing around with my camera. I used the macro thingy and I also changed the colors to sepia in some pictures with it. It was fun.

Anyway, I'm posting them anyway, because I think some of them turned out kinda nice anyway. I hope you like'em:)



The wig is actually gray, and I think the color is sorta wrong on him, but I like the shape though! He looks wolf-like, which is rather fitting I think. All of these pictures are kinda blurry, but I like them, they look sort of old.

So, I took some pictures of Dagmar and Enid. They are like... Best friends or something. They look so wonderfully strange together.



In sepia, because my camera is cool. I wanted to make ALL the pictures in sepia, but my battery died so the rest are normal, hehe.

These girls are so cool, I love them both. They have this awesome look on their face like, "What do you want?", alternatively "Go away!". It amuses me.

Anyway, that was fun:)

My Notdoll Ligaya, Dagmar got her lovely white wig some days ago. I wanted her hair to be short-ish and messy, and either gray or white. The silver wig I bought was a bit too much on her for my tastes, since she is really pale and the gray in the wig was too dark. The white one though, is perfect! I ordered it from Mel on DoA, and it has a "bob" shape, so it looks more feminine:)

I think she looks like she has some kind of trouble sleeping so I took this set of photos thinking about that. She looks like she has either slept too long, or can't sleep at all. She doesn't have alot of clothes yet, other than a nunofelt dress I made with much help from Skumring xD I think I'll have her in more loose clothes in general, and I want her to look kinda like she just picked up whatever she saw first. Uma is, I think, feminine and well dresses, and I would like Dagmar to be different from her.

I thought she would look very sweet and a bit frail, which she does I guess, to some degree, but she also looks thoughtful and tougher than I had anticipated. I like her a lot. Her resin is completely different from Uma's. It feels dryer (can I say that about resin?) and lighter. She is pale, but not like a white skin Delf or a DoD. She has a more pink color to her, which I think is lovely. The only think that annoys me about her, is that everything leave marks on her! I can easily clean them off though, so it isn't a huge problem.

These pictures are kinda dark and blue, but I wanted them to look as though they were taken late at night, or really early in the morning, so it was intentionally, at least to some degree.

This weekend we had a meetup here in my appartment. It was great fun! And alot of dolls (mostly because Shaded_Mazoku was there with all her dolls though). I will post some pictures from the weekend later.

Anyway, Skumring came earlier than the rest of the people, so I've been playing with her Hound, Dane all of last week xD When she left, we decided that he should stay here for a while, and she took Brynn, one of my Soulkids with her.

I have some pictures of Uma and this fellow, and she certainly doesn't seem to mind having him around...;)

In other news, just before this weekend, my Notdoll Ligaya arrived! I'll be posting more of that, and some pictures later:) She has her right wig now, and she is just the cutest thing ever!

I don't mind the waiting for a doll to be shipped from the company, but darnit, I can't stand the time when she is in the mail!

Also, realized that I had my old DA linked here, the one I neverever really used... I changed that now, and added some pictures of Uma. They have been posted her earlier, so nothing new there though. It is all kinda random at the moment. Some drawings and a few of the pictures of Uma that I am really happy with.

It is 05.18 in the morning and I couldn't sleep to night either. It is really all my own fault, because I've personally messed up my sleep pattern (can I call it that?).

Anyway, it was kinda fun posting something that wasn't just pictures of my dolls, so I decided to post something else, which happens to be completely unrelated to dolls; it is about my mum. My mum is good at making different things, and when I showed her my deviantart she thought it seemed like a fun idea and put up some pictures of things she have made there.

See this? This is a cupboard. It is made from wood, and called "Torghatten". "Torghatten" is the name of in my hometown, a rather small one, that has a hole in it. Tourists love it, at least they used to. Not sure how popular it is nowadays, maybe the interest for strange mountains have fallen in the last year. Anyway, it is somewhat of a symbol from Brønnøysund (hometown), and it looks kinda neat. According to old legends about trolls and such, it is the hat of the Troll King of a place called Sømna (not far from Brønnøysund). He threw it in front of a troll called "Hestmannen" (The Horseman, I guess), who attempted to shoot a troll girl called Lekamøia when he realized she really wasn't all to interested in him. She ran from him, should been a good clue. Anyway, all of these trolls are now mountains, because the sun came up and made them into stone.

This is called "The princess and the Pea". It is inspired by the fairytale by H.C. Andersen. It was supposed to be a toy, and she made it a puzzle. The lower mattresses are made from wood, and the fit together in a specific order. Also, there is some small items in between some of the mattresses; a frog, a lizard, and a "treasure" (a shiny bead).

She has made a lot of other things as well, in different kinds of materials. Her ID is Perle52 if anyone is interested in seeing more. I am really proud of her. Unfortunately she works as a teacher and have little time to work on these things nowadays. She did the things on her site for a class she took.

I am having problems taking pictures that are not grainy. I am not sure if it is because I have a bad camera (which I don't think I have, even though it is cheap), I'm not a particularly experienced photographer, or because it is too dark here, all the time.

When I take pictures indoors, I try to set up lamps and get enough, and right lighting. Today, I thought I did pretty well, but the pictures are still grainy. Still, I think they turned out not too shabby:)
I would love to hear what people think about this, good or bad, constructive criticism is welcome!

Cool people thought me something new. I can't take any new pictures right now, and I certainly can't get any more light, however I tested the program that was linked to me, and I think it looks better, no?

I took Uma outside today, for pictures. It had started to get darker already, so they are a bit blue these ones, but overall I think they came out ok.
I feel abit bad for not taking any pictures of the other girls. If I have the time tomorrow, I will take some, inside the house, if I find some place in here I like enough.

It is almost depressing.
All my plans to get my dolls here went wrong, so I've been withouth them since summer:<
However, I am going home in about a week, and then I'll have them with me again. I am really looking forward to going home for christmas. I hope to do alot of christmas themed photoshoots, because I know there are all kinds of things that we are going to do before christmas.

So, anyway:)
New pictures in about a week, and yay, almost christmas!

So, my dolls are still at home, and it feels so weird not having them around.
A little while ago I decided that I wanted to do something about the normal Lishe head I have been lying around here for a while. It used to be Uma's head, before I changed her face to the dreaming version. It didn't look so good, because I kinda messed it up.

So, anyway, I decided to try and... do something interesting with it, using paper clay. I wanted to create something like a sea creature, and I am rather fond of tentacles.

Well, I finally have "proper" internet again! And that is a good thing.
I really wanted to post pictures of Uma and the other dolls now, but I had to leave them back home, again. I traveled by plane, so I couldn't bring them (I had way to much junk with me D:)-

Anyway, my sister is visiting soon, and she might bring them when she comes. I can't wait to have them back! I've ordered wigs and really cute dresses and white stockings for the twins!

Oh, and also, for those who might be interested. I've made a blog, where I intend to post drawings, paintings and stuff that I make, from time to time. I've now been without internet for the past month or so, here at my appartement. Suddenly, we got it back though, last week. I am rather happy about that. Apparently, the internet has forgiven me for whatever sins I've committed against it. Now, I can finally start updating this LJ again!

However, I've left the twins and Uma at home with my parents. I miss them alot. I had to, because when I went back after staying home this summer vacation, I had too many things I just had to bring with me. I am going home for a visit rather soon, and I will bring them back them! Hopefully they will also have gotten their lovely new things by then! I've bought new dresses and wigs for the twins, and a corset for Uma.

So, I had some problems when I tried uploading these, but I am trying again.
I've posted them on DoA and Dukkehuset already, but I thought I'd share them here.

They are taken in our garden, with some small apples we got out there. I really liked the colours on them. Originally I thought that the boards would make a nice background, but then I wasn't so sure. In the end, I think it looks ok though:D Though her face looks abit washed out in some of the pictures.

I'm rather sorry that I haven't been commenting on people's posts, or making any of my own lately. I have been terribly busy with work and some other real-life thingies. I have two rather busy weeks to go now, and I hope I can relax abit more and start taking pictures, sharing and commenting!
